The Center for Story at Shenandoah presents What’s the Story: A Deep Dive into the Art of Drumming and Music Criticism with award-winning writer John Lingan on Wednesday, March 25, from 4-5 p.m. in the Hazel-Pruitt Armory, Collaboratory. Led by Center for Story Director Sean Murphy, the conversation will explore Lingan’s new book “Backbeats: A History of Rock and Roll in 15 Drummers,” along with topics such as arts criticism, research, and turning creative passions into meaningful careers.
