Project Write, Inc., Shenandoah’s Film Studies Department, and the Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning invite students to a day of workshops that explore the film industry on Saturday, March 15, at Hazel-Pruitt Armory. The keynote workshop from 12:30-2 p.m. features Dorie Barton, screenwriter for “Girl Flu” and “Welcome to the Show,” and will lead participants in the creation of a short film. Breakout writing and film experience sessions will run from 9 a.m.-noon. While registration is not required, students are encouraged to sign up online.
