High School Band Day

Saturday, September 6, 2025 is High School Band Day!

 

Each student will need to register individually through our registration portal. Groups will need to have students register individually as well. Medical waivers and photo/video release forms will be shared directly with students and parents through the information provided in the registration form. Due to field capacity registration is limited. All bands who register will be invited to participate on a first come, first served basis.

  • Participants and directors will be provided with free entry to the game.
  • Parents and chaperones will be required to purchase tickets to the game.
  • Game tickets and parking will become available for purchase on the Monday prior to the game on the Athletics website
  • A general admission ticket is $10 
  • Parking spots may be purchased for $10 per vehicle.
  • Bus parking will be available upon request for no additional cost. 

Band Day participants should be dropped off at the Wilkins Athletics and Events Center Main Entrance. Check-in will take place in the lobby.

During the game, participants will sit in a reserved section of the stands. Members of the SU Band Staff will be stationed in this area to assist during the game.

Participants should wear closed-toe tennis shoes, blue jeans, and the band day t-shirt (provided at check-in). Please bring layers based on the weather forecast for the day of the event.

Students will have a secure location to keep their belongings during the event. Please make sure items are labeled with first, last, and high school name in case anything gets left behind.

Watch SU Marching Band pregame performance on the field

Game Begins

1 p.m.

  • First Quarter – Band Day participants sit in stands
  • Second Quarter – Band Day participants move to prepare for halftime.
  • Halftime – Performance
  • Third Quarter – Band Day participants return to seats or leave the game
  • Fourth Quarter – Remaining Band Day participants sit in stands
Game Ends

4 p.m.

Buses or personal vehicles pick up students (WAEC)
