Alson H. Smith, Jr. Library 30th Anniversary Celebration will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30th. We’ll gather in the Alson H. Smith, Jr. Library to celebrate its 30th anniversary, and reflect on how our libraries have served the Shenandoah community. We will share brief stories, appreciations, or confessions about the Smith and Howe Libraries. There will also be light refreshments provided during the event. The Haunted Library Scavenger Hunt Boo! 10 ghosts are haunting the library and must be found. Beginning Monday, October 3rd students can participate in a library scavenger hunt. Pick up the scavenger hunt clues at the library circulation desk. Once you have found all 10 ghosts, return to the desk for a treat.
