One Big Beautiful Bill Updates

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R.1), was signed into law by President Trump on July 4, 2025. The OBBBA brings important changes to federal financial aid that may impact both undergraduate and graduate students. These updates involve federal loan limits and requirements, repayment options, and Pell Grant eligibility calculations.

We understand that changes to financial aid policies can raise questions. The Office of Financial Aid is carefully monitoring these developments and will update this page as new information becomes available. The details on this page reflect the most current guidance provided to financial aid administrators.
