Public Health Certificates

The Population Health and Public Health certificates offer students the flexibility to advance their careers from any location through a collaborative, online learning environment. These programs are designed for current clinicians, health profession students, and working professionals who share a drive to improve health outcomes through accessible and affordable specialized training.

Admissions Requirements

  • Graduate application for admission.
  • Unofficial or official transcripts
    • Applicants can choose to submit unofficial transcripts for initial review. If admitted, the applicant must submit an official transcript for each unofficial transcript upload. See our full policy for more details. 
  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (3.0 minimum GPA).
  • One letter of reference from academic advisors, professors, supervisors, mentors, or person familiar with the applicant’s academic and/or professional ability. A faculty letter of recommendation is strongly encouraged.
  • Resume/C.V.
  • A 250-word letter of interest, stating the applicant’s reasons for wanting the certificate and their relevant work experience.
  • Language Proficiency requirement must be met. TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson Test of English, or Duolingo English Test may be required.
