O’Neill ’92 and Elder ’92 Modify Rehearsal Room for Recording Ensembles at SUNY-Binghamton University School of Music

Director and Associate Professor of Music Production & Recording Technology Golder O’Neill ’92, M.M.E., and Laurence Elder ’92 (B.M. in Jazz Studies) installed recording equipment for the SUNY-Binghamton University School of Music this summer. Elder currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at Binghamton. O’Neill provided consultation on the modification of Binghamton’s rehearsal hall recording control room and helped reconfigure and re-install BU’s current Avid Pro Tools HD digital audio workstation (DAW). The rehearsal room is now a full-fledged recording space for large and small ensembles with an adjacent control room for editing and teaching. O’Neill is also working with Elder on his new CD project that is expected to be released in the spring. Learn more about the project at laurenceelder.com/html.
