From Nov. 15, through Nov. 17, Shenandoah Conservatory music education undergraduate students attended the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) annual conference at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia. A clarinet trio composed of Cassidy Spruill ’20, Sam Durgin ’20 and Nathan Speir ’21, as well as soprano Maggie Bullock ’20 with pianist A.J. Jones ’21, represented Shenandoah Conservatory in the collegiate recital. Students also met with the Shenandoah University collegiate National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Chapter executive board of Amber Howell ’21, Signe Mortensen ’21, Nickole Kennedy ’20, Elizabeth Anderson ’20, Jenny Hale ’21 and Damaris Odebode ’21.
