“A Peregrine Falls,” a play directed by Visiting Guest Artist and Adjunct Associate Professor of Theatre Padraic Lillis, B.A., received critical acclaim in a recent review by The New Yorker. The play, written by Leegrid Stevens, was presented Thursday, Feb. 6 through Saturday, Feb. 29, at the wild project in New York City.
“. . . Padraic Lillis’s controlled and sensitive direction are what carry this Loading Dock production’s emotional weight,” said The New Yorker contributor David Kortava. Visit www.newyorker.com to read the full review.
Lillis is directing Shenandoah Conservatory’s upcoming production of “Blithe Spirit” and teaching a specialty topics course for junior acting majors. The Theatre Division will host a stage reading workshop of his latest play in development, “Remember Me When I Come into Your Kingdom,” at 5 p.m. on March 16 in Goodson Chapel – Recital Hall.
