Schwarz and Bournaki Perform Live on The Violin Channel’s Living Room Concert Series

Assistant Professor of Cello Julian Schwarz, M.M., and his partner and guest pianist Marika Bournaki were recently featured on The Violin Channel’s Living Room Concert series on Friday, May 1. The program was dedicated to the life of cellist Lynn Harrell — one of Schwarz’s influential teachers — who unexpectedly passed away this week. Featured works included Stutschewsky’s “Legend,” new cello arrangements by Schwarz of Korngold’s “Much Ado About Nothing” and Brahms’ “Scherzo” from the “FAE Sonata,” as well as Schubert’s “Du bist die Ruh.”
