Genelec Representative Presents Lecture on Studio Monitoring for MPRT Students

Director of Education for Genelec (audio monitor systems) David Maclaughlin presented a lecture on studio monitoring to music production & recording technology students on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The lecture was designed to help students improve their listening environment by learning more about monitor setup, speaker control, proper placement and tools used for tuning their listening space. Students were able to ask questions regarding their own equipment and listening space. The presentation provided very useful information regarding home project studios, especially during these times of quarantine and work from home scenarios. Genelec is one of the premier manufacturers of studio monitors; its range of studio monitors covers multiple audio monitoring applications from large broadcasting and post-production studios to audio production in small studio environments.
