Schwarz and Bournaki Open Concert Seasons with Special Performances

On Sept. 25, and Sept. 26, Assistant Professor of Cello Julian Schwarz, M.M., opened the Bozeman Symphony’s 2021/22 concert season with a performance of Samuel Barber’s “Cello Concerto, op. 22” with conductor Norman Huynh. This was the orchestra’s first performance back in front of a live audience.

Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy and Performance Marika Bournaki, M.M., and Schwarz also opened the season for the Frankly Music chamber music series in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (also its first concert back in front of a live audience). They performed “Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major, op. 8” by Johannes Brahms with Frank Almond.
