Viña Serves as Featured Guest Artist at University of Delaware Interactive Percussion Seminar

Assistant Professor of Percussion Karlyn R. Viña, D.M.A., was a featured guest artist at the University of Delaware Interactive Percussion Seminar on Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13. She presented a clinic and performed a recital as part of the seminar. Visit www.music.udel.edu for more information.

She was also recently featured as a soloist in the Wind Ensemble’s Music in Motion concert on Saturday, March 5, in Armstrong Concert Hall. She performed the second movement of “Straitjacket” by Mark Applebaum for percussion soloist and percussion quartet.
