Chen ’19 Selected for Senior Leadership Seminar in The Virginia Network

Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Professor of Dance Ting-Yu Chen ’19, Ed.D., was recently selected to participate in the 2022/23 Senior Leadership Seminar with the Virginia Network, a regional extension of the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network. The ACE Women’s Network operates nationwide, including Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, with the goal of advancing and supporting women in higher education.

“I am thrilled to be joining the 2022/23 cohort of senior women leadership from various higher education institutions in Virginia,” said Chen. “I look forward to sharing and learning best practices in higher education.”

She plans to take what she learns from the experience and work with Shenandoah University’s faculty and administration to enhance its strategic plans and priorities with an eye towards social justice, democracy and wellness.
