Curenton Performs New York Premiere of ‘Niiji Memories’ at Stony Brook University

Assistant Professor of Flute Julietta Curenton, M.M., will give the New York premiere of “Niiji Memories,” a flute concerto written for her by Dr. James Lee III, with the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra. Curenton is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts from Stony Brook University.

She is also the headliner for the East Carolina University Flute Symposium on Thursday, March 30, and Friday, March 31, where she will present masterclasses, recitals and speak with the students in attendance.
