From May 23-27, U.S. flags will fly again in a solemn formation creating an awe-inspiring panorama at John Handley High School in Winchester. This stirring display of several hundred flags is the fourth annual Healing Field of Honor, which will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor the heroes who have earned our nation’s gratitude through their service and sacrifice.
The Center for Civic Engagement is calling on members of the SU community to join others in setting up the flags on the field on Thursday, May 23, at 9 a.m. at John Handley High School. All tools are provided, and there will be pizza after the set up is complete.
