Rubio ’23 Serves as Assistant Costume Supervisor for ‘Christmas Spectacular’ Starring Radio City Rockettes

Azaria Rubio ’23 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production – Costume Design) is currently working as an assistant costume supervisor for the “Christmas Spectacular” starring the Radio City Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. With a number that has had the same design since 1933 (“The Toy Soldiers”), the position is about balancing tradition and honoring the artistry of the past while adapting to the changes made to accommodate evolving technology and audience expectations. Performances run from Nov. 8, through Jan. 5, at Radio City Music Hall.
