GLSEN Day of Silence

April 20, 2017

GLSEN Day of Silence is a national day of action in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence on April 21 to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. Students interested in this event can register with dayofsilence.org and pick up their Day of Silence stickers and palm cards at our table in the Brandt Student Center on Thursday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Friday, April 21, Brandt Student Center 120 will become a designated safe space where participants can go to relax and get support. Contact Jermaine James jjames15@su.edu or Ucee Nwachuawu unwachuk16@su.edu for more information.
