Spiritual Life and the Office Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity will host the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service of Remembrance on Monday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. in Goodson Chapel-Recital Hall. The program will open with a concert by Shenandoah’s Harambee Gospel Choir and will feature words, images and music honoring the life and legacy of Dr. King. Dr. Betty Kilby Fisher Baldwin will serve as the keynote speaker. Immediately following the service, attendees are invited to take part in a meal-packing event for Rise Against Hunger in the Brandt Student Center, with packed meals to be distributed to individuals in need.
