PMIWDC SVC – “Project Management Meets Knowledge Management: Turning Project Experience into Organizational Intelligence”
September 23 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Every project generates lessons, expertise and insights, but that knowledge can be lost when teams reorganize, employees move on or the next project begins. Join the PMI Washington, D.C., Chapter Shenandoah Valley Community (PMIWDC SVC) on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Hazel-Pruitt Armory, Collaboratory for “Project Management Meets Knowledge Management: Turning Project Experience Into Organizational Intelligence,” featuring Dr. Kader Gumus to prevent this knowledge loss. Dr. Gumus will explore how project management and knowledge management can work together to strengthen project performance and build long-term organizational capability. With more than 15 years of experience leading complex federal technology programs and organizational transformation initiatives, Dr. Gumus brings executive experience and academic research to this practical discussion. The event is free for SU students and staff; use code SVCStudent01 when registering. For questions, contact David Schwantes at lhf23@su.edu.
