Shenandoah University’s Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk

The Shenandoah University Psychology Club and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) host the annual Out of the Darkness campus walk on Saturday, April 11, in Sarah’s Glen. This community event aims to support mental health, connect participants with resources and raise funds for suicide prevention research and training. In-person registration opens at 9 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and the walk immediately after. The event is open to the public and is family-friendly; however, only official service animals are permitted.
