Tashlich
September 12 @ 2:30 pm
Members of Reform Jewish Beth El Congregation in Winchester are on campus for a Tashlich prayer service on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m. at Abrams Creek, between Sarah’s Glen and the red bridges. Traditionally observed between Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, Tashlich involves casting small objects into moving water as a symbolic act of casting off sins from the previous year. All are welcome to attend and participate. For questions, contact Spiritual Life at spirituallife@su.edu.
