Conservatory Academics Division Hosts First-ever Celebration of Scholarship Event

The Conservatory Academics Division hosted its first-ever Celebration of Scholarship on April 7 in Ruebush Hall, Room 146. The event featured presentations from students in the graduate pedagogy and music therapy programs. Topics included:

  • “Temporomandibular Disorder Symptom Prevalence in Undergraduate Singers”
    by Jane Clukey ’20 (Doctor of Musical Arts in Pedagogy – Voice)
  • “The Impact of Two Music Therapy Interventions on Vital Signs, Pain and Anxiety for Adult Patients in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)”
    by Ray Leone ’17 (Master of Music Therapy)
  • “Developmental Music Therapy Programming for Post-term Infants in the NICU: A Pilot Study”
    by Lelia Emery ’17 (Master of Music Therapy)
  • “How Do I See You, and What Does That Mean for Us? The Autoethnographic Adventures of an Uncertain Unprofessional”
