CTLT supports Transformative Teaching and Learning initiatives and programs in advising, pedagogy, instructional technology and instructional design in cooperation with the Faculty Senate and departments across the university.
Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning (SCIL)
Through the Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning (SCIL), Shenandoah University and CTLT launched three bachelors degrees and a certificate in a Virtual Reality Design Program, and also initiated eSports Teams with bachelors degrees and certificate programs in eSports Management and eSports Media & Communication. Both are among the first in the country.
What is SCIL?
A division of CTLT, the Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning infuses AR/VR simulation models into teaching and learning experiences and includes the Emergency Preparedness Instruction Center (EPIC), the Role-Player Workforce (RPW), and the Augmented Reality Chamber (ARC). Learn more…
