The Shenandoah Salvage Co. is a pilot program which will depend upon the generosity of individuals who have things to donate as well as the thriftiness of shoppers who appreciate that “free” is good for them and the environment.
Shenandoah Salvage Co. is a swap shop, and everything in it is free. Merchandise ranges from clothes to office supplies to non-perishable food items. Students and employees need only show an SU I.D. card in order to take what they need from the shop, which will be staffed by students. Everyone is encouraged to give unused items to the shop, too.
