Ah, the end of the year is upon us again, and it was quite the year for Shenandoah. The conservatory completed the All Steinway Initiative, adding 84 Steinway produced pianos to its fleet, Grammy-winning jazz composer, trumpeter and educator Wynton Marsalis finished his residency here and premiered his revised, complete “Blues Symphony” with the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, we broke ground on amazing new upperclass housing, and the physician assistant studies program continued to garner national accolades and high rankings.
