Nursing faculty members present work and publish in national publications

Professor of Nursing Patricia Krauskopf, Ph.D., has been awarded a $1,600 Single Discipline Faculty Development Grant, which supported her research presentation at the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, in April.

Assistant Professor of Nursing Kathrene Brendell, D.N.P., has had an article she co-authored, “The Effect of a School-Based Transitional Support Intervention Program on Alternative School Youth’s Attitudes and Behaviors,” accepted for publication in The Professional Counselor.

Director of the Midwifery Program and Assistant Professor of Midwifery Karen Feltham, Ph.D., had an article, “Midwifery Education in the U.S. – Certified Nurse-Midwife, Certified Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife,” published in Midwifery, Volume 60, May 2018.

Professor of Nursing Pamela Cangelosi, Ph.D., had a research proposal accepted for a podium presentation at the National League for Nursing Summit in September in Chicago. She also had an article published in The Journal of Christian Nursing.
