Attend The NAMI ‘In Our Own Voice’ Presentation

The psychology department has teamed up with the local National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) organization to bring its “In Our Own Voice” presentation to Shenandoah University. NAMI’s “In Our Own Voice” is a unique public education program, in which two trained speakers share their compelling personal stories of living with mental health challenges and achieving recovery. While audiences benefit from the inspirational stories of the speakers, presenters increase their confidence and develop leadership skills through helping to inspire and motivate others.

Come out on Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Halpin-Harrison Hall, Room 222, for this event, which is open to all students, faculty, and staff. For more information, please contact Associate Professor of Psychology Rodney Bragdon, Ph.D., at rbragdon@su.edu.
