Nelson Adjudicates at American Legion National Concert Band Competition

On Aug. 25, Professor of Trumpet and Conducting Scott Nelson, D.M.A., adjudicated the American Legion National Concert Band Competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the American Legion’s 100th anniversary national convention. Dr. Nelson has judged this competition for 18 years with fellow adjudicators Myron Welch, director emeritus of bands at the University of Iowa, and David Teachout, professor and administrator at the University of North Carolina School of Music.
