Saul ’18, ’20 Participates in Flute Masterclass with Sir James Galway at Kennedy Center

Flutist Sarah Saul ’18, ’20, performed Lowell Liebermann’sConcerto for Flute and Orchestra, op. 39”  in the March 14 masterclass with Sir James Galway at 7:30 p.m. in Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theater after being invited by Washington Performing Arts (WPA) to participate. The work was originally commissioned by and dedicated to Galway. Saul was accompanied by Bo-Kyung Hwang ’20. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Performance (Flute) and studies with Professor of Flute Jonathan Snowden, A.G.S.M. Hwang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance (Piano) and studies with Assistant Professor of Piano Ieva Jokubaviciute, M.M.
