Shenandoah Celebrates World Music Therapy Day

Shenandoah’s music therapy department celebrated its practice and the touching of hearts around the world through music on World Music Therapy Day (WMTD), Friday, March 1, with celebration, advocacy and education. Events included a breakfast potluck and drum circle; an information table in the Brandt Student Center; a coffee-shop style performance and discussion at The Grille featuring volunteers presenting original songs, instrumental pieces, just-for-fun tunes and more; and a culminating party with food, friends, dancing and prizes.
