Track Completes Washington & Lee Carnival

The Shenandoah University outdoor track & field teams completed the Washington & Lee (W&L) Track & Field Carnival with 38 personal records and 10 ODAC qualifiers on March 16.

There were three top-10 finishers.

Kyle Holliday placed tenth in the men’s 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 17.22 seconds.

On the women’s side, Renee Custer finished fifth in the women’s javelin, with Jamie Ryan finishing one spot behind her, with throws of 29.33 meters and 28.65 meters, respectively.

The squad added 26 personal bests and five conference qualifying marks to bring the weekend total to 38 personal records and and 10 ODAC qualifiers.

The team competes at the Goucher College Invitational on Saturday, March 23.
