Chow ’18, ’22 Advances to Semi-Finals in Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Spain

Pianist Aaron Chow ’18, ’22, advanced to the semifinals of the Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona, Spain. More than 200 pianists from around the world applied for this competition, 70 were accepted to play in the first round, 18 qualified for the second round and only 8 made it to the semifinals. Chow earned a Master of Music in Performance (Piano) and is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma while studying with Distinguished Artist-in-Residence, Chair of Keyboard Division and Professor of Piano John O’Conor, Mus.D.
