Instrumental Conducting Symposium Welcomes 30+ Conductors from Around the World

Shenandoah Conservatory hosted the seventh annual Instrumental Conducting Symposium under the direction of Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Conducting Timothy J. Robblee, Ph.D. Dr. Rob Taylor from the University of British Columbia served as the guest clinician. More than 30 conductors came from all over the United States and Asia (six teachers came from South Korea, China and Vietnam). More than 10 select Shenandoah Conservatory instrumental students joined in to serve as ringers in the ensemble that played for the conductors.
