Music Therapy Program Partners with Kyoto University for Research on Dementia Care in Japan

The music therapy program established a research partnership with Distinguished Visiting Lecturer of Conservatory Academics Ryuji Ueno, Ph.D., and Kyoto University neurology department for a major research study focused on music therapy and dementia care in Japan. This includes the design and implementation of the study in 2020 and the presentation of the findings an international neurology conference in Japan in spring 2021.
