Shenandoah Conservatory welcomed Dana Fonteneau as the honored guest and speaker for the 2019/20 Conservatory Convocation at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre. Fonteneau also hosted two conversations on “Handling the Challenges of Conservatory Life” for Shenandoah Conservatory faculty and students during her visit. She is a conservatory-trained musician who has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and as an orchestral player around the world. She holds degrees in cello performance from the San Francisco Conservatory. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, is a Demartini Method and Demartini Values Facilitator, and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC49425) in the State of California.
