Farrar ’21, ’23 and Sabatine ’24 Tour Germany with Odyssey Dance Theatre

Lily Farrar ’21, ’23 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, Master of Science in Performing Arts Leadership & Management) and Ian Sabatine ’24 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance) recently toured Germany with the Salt Lake City-based Odyssey Dance Theatre. Over the course of nearly two weeks, the company performed in six cities, presenting original dance productions of “Romeo and Juliet” and “Chicago Nights.”

“Getting to bring our love for the arts to another country and seeing how they appreciate our hard work and dedication was such a gift,” said Farrar and Sabatine.

The tour provided opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange, as the artists engaged with audiences across Germany and experienced the country’s artistic and historical landscapes. Farrar and Sabatine also noted the enthusiastic audience response, with extended applause and multiple curtain calls following performances. They expressed gratitude to Artistic Director Derryl Yeager and the company for making the international tour possible, citing the experience as a significant milestone in their professional careers.
