New Album Featuring Naumenko and Conspirare Debuts High on Billboard Chart

A recent recording featuring Grammy Award-winning ensemble Conspirare and Assistant Professor of Voice Fotina Naumenko, D.M.A., debuted at number 5 on the Traditional Classical Albums Billboard Chart. The album was released on Aug. 9, 2019.

According to the Delos label’s website, “‘The Hope of Loving’ is the first Delos album devoted to the music of composer Jake Runestad and presents many of his finest choral compositions. Listeners will marvel at the rich, luminous textures, lyricism, and harmonic wizardry of his compositions, as he explores (among others) themes of love, spirituality and the natural world in mesmerizing settings of verses by poets ranging from medieval mystics to more contemporary masters.”

“I had such a wonderful time recording this lush and rich sound world with my fantastic colleagues at Conspirare,” said Naumenko. “We are excited to share our work with the world!”
