Assistant Professor of Music Therapy Hakeem Leonard, Ph.D., MT-BC, was awarded the first Pillar Award at the April 19 virtual Black Excellence Gala hosted by The Mosaic Center for Diversity at Shenandoah University. The award honors his outstanding contributions to Black and African student life at Shenandoah.
