Spencer ’91 Performs Virtually for Homecoming 2020

The Shenandoah Alumni Association and Shenandoah Conservatory are hosting a live performance by alumnus J. Robert “Bobby” Spencer ’91 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) at 7 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Oct. 15, as part of Shenandoah University’s 2020 Virtual Homecoming.

Spencer is the 2009 recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from Shenandoah University, and is a Tony Award-nominated actor, independent film director and producer who has performed over 1,000 concerts worldwide with his singing group The Midtown Men. His numerous film, television and theatre credits include originating the role of Nick Massi in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway musical “Jersey Boys” and the role of Dan Goodman in “Next to Normal.”

The performance will be streamed live on the Shenandoah University Alumni Association Facebook page; you do not need a Facebook account to watch.
