Chen Presents Wellness Workshop at NATS Virtual Winter Workshop

Shenandoah Conservatory Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Professor of Dance Ting-Yu Chen ’19, Ed.D., presented “Leveraging Your Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Awareness to Reduce Stress and Enhance Your Holistic Wellbeing” during the 2021 National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Virtual Winter Workshop held from Jan. 8 to Jan. 10). The winter virtual workshop could not have been more timely to help singing artists and voice teachers navigate through this unprecedented, challenging time. Dr. Chen’s work was warmly received by the NATS leadership and participants.

“Your three sessions were very rewarding and enthusiastically received by our attending members,” said NATS Vice President for Workshops DeMar Austin Neal, IV. “I know I speak on behalf of all when I say we deeply appreciated your warm, calming presence, and insightful, restorative exercises.”
