Haven Leads Masterclasses in Gold Metallic Embroidery for Costume Students

Bob Haven came to campus on Saturday, March 13, to lead costume students in a masterclass on gold metallic embroidery. After Haven retired from university teaching, he created a second career teaching specialty techniques like this. His tambour beading was seen in the World of Wearable Art exhibition in New Zealand and he will be featured on PBS in April. Support for Haven’s masterclass was provided in part by the Borden Fund.
