Jump into J Term!

Let’s jump into J Term! If you’re looking for some fun events to participate in over the break, check out some of the activities that are taking place during J Term. Stop by the Brandt Student Center (BSC) Fire pit on Thursday, Jan. 6, at 1 p.m. and enjoy some s’mores, join us for bingo at the Allen Dining Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at noon, or swing by the swing by the BSC info desk for a grab-and-go crafting kit, which are available throughout all of J Term. Come by campus to relax and have fun during J Term – we’ll see you there! Questions? Reach out to studentlife@su.edu.  

Throughout the entire J Term period:

Grab and Go Kits 

Stop by the Brandt Student Center Information Desk between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout J Term for grab-and-go craft kits! Campus Activities Network (CAN) will provide a new kit each week, starting with paint craft kits Monday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 7. LEGO kits will be available Monday, Jan. 10, through Friday, Jan. 14, and diamond art kits will be available Monday, Jan. 17, through Friday, Jan. 21. One free kit per student per week; available while supplies last. Questions? Contact CAN at can@su.edu.

Coloring Books in Residence Halls 

Residence Life will place coloring books and crayons throughout the residence hall common areas for students to utilize on their own time.  

Game Room Reservations 

A group of up to 30 people can make reservations to use the game room. Please email mlevy@su.edu at least 72 hours prior to your requested date.

Use the BSC Fire Pit

Email bscreservations@su.edu to reserve the patio and fire pit area and confirm that a staff member will turn it on for you. Faculty and staff can also use the EMS system for reservations. Available during J Term BSC hours: 9 a.m. –  5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Contact bscreservations@su.edu

S’mores with Residence Life / BSC, Fire Pit

Sophomore Experience Game Night / Zoom 

The Sophomore Experience program is hosting a trivia night via Zoom on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m.! Join us to play games through Kahoot and have the chance to win prizes along the way.
