McNeal ’14 Cast in Lead Role for Nashville Rep’s ‘Mary Poppins’

Actor, singer and dancer Christine McNeal Toole ’14 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) was cast in the lead role of Mary Poppins for Nashville Repertory Theatre’s upcoming production of the Broadway musical “Mary Poppins” running Thursday, April 28, through Sunday, May 8 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Other recent roles include solos in New York City at Feinstein’s/54 Below and Don’t Tell Mama, as well as Daphne in the international tour of “Scooby Doo Live!”

“Since watching Julie Andrews as a child, portraying Mary Poppins is a dream come true,” said McNeal.
