Lynn ’22 and SU Alumni/Students Perform at 54 Below in New York City

Spencer Lynn ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), a writer of stage and screen work fresh from a world premiere production at Shenandoah Conservatory and a summer with the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center through the National Theater Institute, makes his 54 Below debut in “Songs from a Hat” on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

He is joined by several Shenandoah University alumni and students, including Jack Dossett ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Carlyn Head ’23 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Kiki Lemieux ’21 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Kyle Mangold ’19 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Emily Steinhardt ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) and Joe Verga ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), as well as music director and pianist Chris Pinder ’21, ’23 (Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Accompanying, Master of Music in Conducting – Musical Theatre) and Broadway performer James Rushin on bass.

Join him for a night of laughter, heart, and child-like abandonment. Featuring all-original music from his projects “Moonrise” and “The Kids of Tacoma,” Lynn and friends will take audiences on a laugh-filled journey through the struggles of mental health and growing up. Featuring seven young New York talents currently on the Broadway stages and beyond, you do not want to miss this night of storytelling, theatrics and hope.
