Wold ’07 Commissioned to Write New Work for Maryland State Boychoir

Church Music Institute Director and Adjunct Associate Professor of Organ Wayne L. Wold ’07, D.M.A., was commissioned to compose a piece for the Maryland State Boychoir. “All Shall Be Honored with Justice and Peace” premiered at the choir’s holiday concert on Dec. 10, 2022, in Baltimore, Maryland. Two other choral compositions were published in the fall of 2022: “The Wings of God” for soprano, alto, bass choir, organ and flute from Augsburg Fortress Publishers, and “On the Other Side of the Water” for two soloists and/or soprano, alto, tenor, bass choir and piano, from MorningStar/E.C. Schirmer Publishers.
