On Feb. 11, 2023, Kathy Voytko (C ’94) performed in the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra’s “Hometown Who’s Who: Broadway Star Kathy Voytko and Open Mic Night at the Symphony” at the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center in Richland Township, Pennsylvania.

On Feb. 22, 2023, Mary Tedrow (AS ’99) was highlighted in an Education Weekly article entitled, “How to Enhance the Craft of Teaching.”

On Feb. 27, 2023, Jonathan A. Noyalas’ (AS ’01) article entitled, “Despite the Union’s victory, Jubal Early still haunted the Shenandoah Valley” was featured on Historynet.com.

On Feb. 15, 2023, Clay Morris (AS ’03) hosted a discussion on “Native American and Appalachian Foodways and Foraging: A Heritage of Sustainable Living” at the Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

On Mar. 9, 2023, Nick Nerangis (C ’04) was honored by The Community Foundation of the Northern Shenandoah Valley at the Annual Community Stars Event.

On Feb. 27, 2023, Shenandoah University announced that Latiné Musical Theatre Lab’s Table Reading Series is returning for its second year under the leadership of Founder and Executive Director Ryan Morales Green (C ’12).

Rachel PottsOn Oct. 1, 2022, Rachel Roberts (AS ’17, HP ’21) and Nolan Potts (AS ’15, EL ’15) got married. Danyelle McGrady Aptekhmanov (AS ’17, HP ’19), Reagan Potts (AS ’17) and Scott van Dusseldorp (AS ’10) were in the wedding party and several more alumni were in attendance. The ceremony was officiated by former Dean of Spiritual Life Justin Allen. (Pictured to the left.)
