Smith Completes Term as President of Theatre Bay Area, Rejoins Board of Directors for Chanticleer

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Leadership & Management Anne Smith, D.P.A., recently completed a term as president of Theatre Bay Area and rejoined the Board of Directors for the Grammy Award-winning voice ensemble Chanticleer. Dr. Smith is a longtime active arts leader in the San Francisco Bay area, serving as a co-chair of the Arts Forum for the Commonwealth Club, the nation’s oldest and largest public affairs forum, as well as a board member for several arts organizations. She is an active member in current graduate mentoring programs as well as the Association of Arts Administration Educators (AAAE), of which she is a past president. Smith teaches the graduate research and writing course for Shenandoah Conservatory’s Performing Arts Leadership & Management program.
