Hawkins ’27 Selected to Sing National Anthem for New York Yankees Game in July

Donnie Hawkins ’27 (Bachelor of Music in Performance – Voice) was recently selected to sing the National Anthem for the New York Yankees out of a pool of hundreds of auditions. He will sing on Saturday, July 6, for the game against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium in New York City.

“I am super honored, humbled and happy that I was selected to sing the National Anthem at what is to be one of the biggest baseball games for the Yankees season each year,” said Hawkins. “This is a huge honor that I am super thankful and blessed to be able to do.”
