Padierna Elected to ACDA National Board of Directors

On Monday, May 6, Assistant Professor of Modern Dance Daniel Padierna, M.F.A., was elected to join the National Board of Directors for the American College Dance Association (ACDA) for a three-year term. This organization holds several conferences and programming across the nation, dedicated to nurturing dance within higher education across various colleges and universities. Padierna will represent Shenandoah Conservatory’s dance program on the National Board of Directors, contributing to inclusive excellence initiatives, faculty development, and regional programming for various academic institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region (comprising Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina). He will also be attending national conferences as a regional representative, championing the collaborative spirit of Shenandoah Conservatory.
